Name: Dendrobium tortile

Plant Description: Nobile type species. Plump canes on a clumping plant, with thick, club shaped pseudobulbs. Semi deciduous leaves on the upper portions. These are rooted keikis but this species will get quite large with time, producing an impressive show of flowers. Blooms better with a winter rest but this does not appear to be essential.

Product height (cm): 25cm

Flowering size: Flowering size young plants. Hopefully these will start to bloom in spring 2027.

Flower description: Loose sprays of 2 or 3 pink flowers with twisty petals are produced from upper nodes of leafed and leafless canes. Old canes can continue to bloom so don’t remove them!
